Rotolabo – pilot machine which represents the reply to the continuous needs of research and innovation of our customers.
This equipment have been designed in order to be as flexible as possible, but very easy in working as well. So simples solutions, easy and fast adjustments, but precision and accuracy at the same time. Technically this machine includes a main frame (the unwinder/winder and cooling groups) where other units can be installed according to the different requests: drying oven with 1 or 2 indepedent temperature zones, lamination groups before or after oven, embossing facility, transfer/film lamination and different “heads” for chemical application (thickness blade, air blade, coating bar, synchro/reverse coating roll, impregnation/squeezing group, hot melt coating cylinder … and other solutions still under designing). Available with cylinders width of 600 or 900 mm., initially it can be even supplied with single head and up-graded later on with other units while, from the chemical pount of view, it can be used for solvent or not-solvent based products. We ask for XXX Euro/day in case there will be 1 Matex personnel assisting customer. This cost it is for covering our consumption and people.
Euro XXX Euro/day in case customer will use Rotolabo alone, without anyone from us.
Of course any customer using the machine 2-3 times and then placing an order for a Rotolabo or industrial machine, these 2-3 times of rent will be refund as discount.
Machine and room must be cleaned and left as customer found it.
All raw materials must be brought and taken away by customer.
Specs of the pilot machine is the following:
- Rotolabo 600 mm
- Machine width 600 mm
- Max web width 450 mm
- Roll dimension: in carton core of 3”, max diam. 350 mm
- Machine speed: 1 to 10 m/m
- Suitable for water and solvent base coatings.
- Oven with 2 sections:
o Each section with double passage
o Each passage about 1,6 m long (so total 3,5 m on top passage + 3,5 m on bottom passage)
o Each passage with air flow regulation on top or bottom of the web
o Each passage with air speed regulation
o Nr. 4 Independent temperature zone. Max. temp. 1st oven 200°C, 2nd oven 130 °C about
o Nr. 2 smokes exhauster (one for each oven)
- Available kits:
o knife over rubber roll,
o air knife,
o lacquering coating cylinder,
o reverse roll coating cylinder,
o impregnation and squeezing group,
o coating rod (“mayer bar”) (*),
o hot-melt coating roll (but not adhesive melter) (*),
o wet lamination unit,
o dry lamination unit,
o strong smoothing calender,
(*) these kits have been modified. We need some time to restore them as per original design.
