Challenge

The purpose was to improve the productivity by improving material and design in a mining company, on a hot-cast PUR part together with existing toll-manufacturers.

Task

We measured the quality on the existing materials. We have also optimized the material properties, design and tested with the new material and design considering the old applications.

Result

As the mechanical properties with lifetime application has been increased, we have to work more with the toll-manufacturers – who are always ready to accept new materials and techniques.

Today, with pure experimentation and processes, we have welcomed increased productivity with controlled maintenance.
